Hornblower Niagara Cruises are Now Underway

Wow, what an exciting afternoon I’ve just now had. I was one of the fortunate numbers of invited guest to today’s official opening of Niagara newest attractions- Hornblower Niagara Cruises.

And even better, I was one of the first to take a ride on two of these three new catamarans.

I have to tell you I’ve taken lots of trips by boat to the base of the Falls over the past 50 years but this was the smoothest I’ve ever experienced. The facilities aboard the ship were exceptional; the crew friendly and there was lots of room to roam the ship.

Terry Mac Rae, Chairman and CEO of the attraction told us at the opening “We’re very proud at how this project has fallen into place. We’re proud of the relationship that we have with the Niagara Parks Commission and we look forward to many happy years ahead.”

I’ve attached a few photos I took of the opening and  some on board one of the new 700 passenger catamaran’s, ”Niagara Wonder”.

The attraction will operate seven days a week starting May 15th.
