The 2014 Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade will be held on Saturday November 15, 2014, Downtown Niagara Falls (Queen St), with the pre-parade starting at 10:45 a.m. and the parade beginning at 11:00 a.m.
This year’s parade will be better than even, featuring nine incredible marching bands including the award winning White Sabres Drum & Bugle Corps, the fabulous Orchard Park High School Quaker Marching Band and the amazing MaracaTALL band. In addition, the parade will feature Inflatables, Stilt Walkers, Silver Elvis, Brant the Fire Guy, clowns, cheerleaders, fabulous mascots, and more! And never to be missed, Santa Claus himself will be the Grand Finale!
The Parade Route begins at Victoria Avenue & Armoury Street, north along Victoria Avenue, turning right onto Valley Way, right onto Queen Street and ending just past Niagara Falls City Hall. (Visit www.niagarafalls.ca/santa for map and information)
The Pre-Parade begins at 10:45 am featuring the Niagara Regional Police, Dreams Take Flight Mascots, Project SHARE (collecting food donations), Heartland Forest, Red Roof Retreat, Search and Rescue Niagara and The Hit Men Brass Band!
During the Parade:
Free while supplies last ...Tim Horton’s Hot Chocolate & Tim Bits at both City Hall and at the tent located at Valley Way and Queen Street.
Free Face Painting, Balloons and Caricatures at City Hall on Queen Street
Canada Post will be collecting letters to Santa along the parade route. Please remind children to include their return address so Santa can answer their letters!
After the Parade:
Meet & Greet with Santa Claus out front of Niagara Falls City Hall
Art Contest Awards in the Niagara Falls Public Library at 2:00 p.m
