The Niagara Falls History Museum features time-honoured exhibits and artifacts on display in three remarkable galleries that tell the most compelling Niagara Falls stories, the museum offers engaging hands-on exhibitions, complemented by digital guides for an optimal experience.

From artifacts to arts-of-wax, have your chance to get up close and personal as you mingle your way through a series of themed galleries featuring over 200 life-like wax figures that have been crafted by wax artists from around the world. Pan the city skyline for a glimpse of your next stop, opened in 1965 the Skylon Tower has been the iconic centrepiece standing tall above Niagara Falls for over fifty years. An early predecessor to the CN Tower which was built in 1976, the Skylon Tower stands 160 metres (520 ft) tall. The Skylon was constructed using the slipform method, the same method that was used to build Canada’s iconic CN Tower which stood as the world’s tallest free-standing structure from 1976 to 2007. Hop aboard the Skylon’s famous “yellow bug” elevator for a ride-to-the-top and enjoy panoramic views of Niagara Falls and surrounding areas. Markers on the railings point-out notable landmarks that can be seen from the observation deck.

Follow your eye-opening visit at the Skylon Tower with an experience that will delight your tastbuds at AG inspired Cuisine. Energized by local growers and producers, AG’s menu utilizes regional and seasonal ingredients that are brought together by the inventive hand of Executive Chef Cory Linkson. Located at the Sterling Inn & Spa Boutique Hotel, AG’s delicious dishes are crafted to satisfy the palate while also providing a true farm-to-table experience with many of the ingredients being grown at the AG Farm.

From AG its just a short walk to the neighboring Greg Frewin Theatre to enjoy the amazing entertainment of Greg Frewin’s Wild Magic show. Performed by International Grand Champion of Magic, Greg Frewin, Wild Magic dazzles audiences of all ages with a powerful mix of the most outrageous and astonishing mind-bending acts of magic and illusion ever to be seen on stage. This Vegas style format non-stop show is packed with thrilling magic of unprecedented proportions and also features real tigers including a rare white Siberian, and exotic birds from around the globe.

Follow the show with a stop at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls to view the nightly Falls Illumination. First illuminated in 1860 for a visit by the Price of Wales, Niagara Falls has been illuminated at night since the creation of the bi-national Niagara Falls Illumination Board. Beginning at dusk each evening, the three waterfalls are transformed using state-of-the-art LED technology into an incredible, multi-coloured water and light masterpiece.
Enjoy the new Inspired by Nature show, this new illumination display features colour palettes and movements inspired by nature, including the sunrise, aurora borealis, rainbow and sunset. The mighty American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls come alive every evening with this tribute to the natural beauty all around us.
As of November 14, 2020, the “Inspired by Nature” display became part of the regular nightly illumination of the Falls, with the five-minute lighting display playing through three times on the half hour, beginning at 7:30 each evening, with additional displays at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30pm.
