One of the nice things about living in Niagara Falls is that there seems to be always something happening.

Here are just few things you can take in in this coming weekend.

The Niagara Falls Women’s Half Marathon happens on Sunday, June 7th. This 21.1 kilometre marathon occurs near and around the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. It was started a few years ago by Ross Robinson, one of the founders of Oh Canada Eh! Today it’s become one of the classiest half marathons in North America. Registration for walkers and runners is capped at 4,000.Proceeds from the event go to Niagara Falls Heartland Forest and the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Another sterling event is the Niagara Falls Comic Con which is posed to begin on Friday, June 5 and end on Sunday, June 7th.This pop culture event takes place at the Scotiabank Convention Centre. This year it features celebrity guest, David Hasselhoff of Bay Watch and Knight Rider, Sean Austin of Lord of the Rings and Cassandra Peterson who plays Elvira.
