Planned Road Closures
Niagara Parks, in partnership with the City of Niagara Falls, will implement the following planned road closures near the Falls to prioritize public safety on New Year’s Eve.
- The Niagara Parkway between Clifton Hill and Fraser Hill will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 7 p.m., with a full road closure in place by 8 p.m. Clifton Hill will also be closed during that time to vehicular traffic from Victoria Avenue to Falls Avenue.
- Murray Street, from the Niagara Parkway to Warren Avenue (Skylon Driveway) will be closed beginning at 7 p.m., with the full closure of the road from Skylon Driveway to Fallsview Boulevard in place at 10 p.m.
- All road closures will be at the discretion of the Niagara Parks Police Service and Niagara Regional Police Service and timing may be adjusted as required. In the event of inclement weather or lower-than-anticipated visitation levels, closures may be modified or cancelled.
