Go Train Service to Expand to Niagara Falls
The Ontario government announced yesterday plans to begin to expand GO Train service to Niagara next year.
Niagara politicians have been lobbying for many years to get this service on a year-long basis to the Niagara area.
As we all can appreciate, this major extension of rail service will not happen overnight. Infra structures have to be in place along the route. Included in this infrastructure will be 30 kilometres of new track, a new station at Grimsby, existing track upgrades and a new layover facility at Niagara Falls
Congratulations to all those involved in getting this new extension to Niagara.
