Attached is a rare photograph of Table Rock at the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls taken in 1860.This is about 20 years after the invention of photography.

If you look through the centre of the Prince of Wales Arch you will see a tall building known as Street’s Cedar Island Pagoda. It was located where the abandoned Canadian Niagara Power Company is now found. The observation tower stood between1857 and 1879.

You can also see part of Barnett’s Table Rock House and Museum on the right behind the arch.

On the left is Table Rock Point. This piece of rock hanging over the edge crashed into the lower Niagara River in 1897.
