Getting Around

It can be difficult to find your way around in an unfamiliar place. We've provided our best insider knowledge to get you around town in every season so you have no problems being able to explore Niagara!

Public Transportation

WEGO

WeGo is the state-of-the-art bus system that connects accommodations and tourist attractions throughout the city of Niagara Falls and Niagara Parks. There are three lines that run: the Blue and Red lines that serve the city's tourist areas, and the Green line that runs through Niagara Parks. You can purchase a pass for 24-hours ($13.00/adult and $9.00/child) or 48-hours ($17.00/adult and $13.00/child) from these retailers.

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE SHUTTE

Starting in April 2024, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Shuttle will connect to WEGO bus services. One-way and round-trip shuttle tickets can be purchased individually at the departure points (the Butterfly Conservatory, the Floral Clock, and Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake). All-day access is included with the Niagara Falls Adventure Pass Plus, but not the regular WEGO day-pass.

NIAGARA REGIONAL TRANSIT (NRT)

The Region of Niagara runs public transit bus system that runs seven days a week - with reduced service on Sundays. You can find more details Bus Transit serivice in Niagara Falls here locate your nearest bus stop here. Exact fare (in Canadian dollars) is required when purchasing on the bus.

Niagara Falls has several Taxi companies that operate throughout the city, as well as Uber. While you can typically find taxis outside of hotels, transit stations and major attractions, below are a few contact numbers to call a cab:

RENT-A-CAR

Renting a car can be useful if you plan on travelling around the Niagara region quite a bit - although is not necessary if you plan to stay only in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake, as WEGO can get you most places around the city.

There are several places to rent a car in Niagara Falls, but it is recommended that you call to reserve your car ahead of time and ensure you qualify to rent the car. If you do rent a car, you can find parking options here.
