Niagara Falls is best seen up Close

"Niagara Falls is best seen up close”, is the title of a travel article that recently appeared in one of Canada’s national newspapers, the Toronto Star.

Travel writer, Samantha Feuse in the May 26th travel section of the newspaper writes a glowing narrative of her visit to Niagara Falls and nearby Niagara on the Lake.  She begins her almost one-page story this way, “Niagara Falls is nature at its mightiest. More than just a look at a waterfall, a visit is a full vacation surrounded by the natural beauty of the area and the luxury that has drawn tourists from around the world”.

About nearby Niagara on the Lake one of the things she writes is, “The annual Shaw Theatre Festival, dedicated to George Bernard Shaw, playwright and Noble Prize winner, is a great time to visit. Multiple festivals are held in Niagara-on-the-Lake throughout the year, including events dedicated to wine. “

I couldn’t agree more with both these observations.
