Sightseers to Niagara Falls in the 1920's

A sightseeing bus carrying visitors from Toronto to the falls turns right past the Lafayette Hotel (1880-1933) towards the falls in this 1927 photograph. Look carefully (you’ll need a magnifying glass) and you will see a single room at the hotel cost $3.00 for the night! The tracks of the Great Gorge Route (Niagara Belt Line) run parallel to the Niagara Parkway. Can you see the lone person on the balcony of the hotel in the distance is the Canadian Horseshoe Falls?
