Even though the summer has just started, Fallsview Casino Resort is gearing up for fun this fall with Canadian pop music icon Shawn Desman, on Friday, October 11 at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. The showtime is at 8:00pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 19 at 10:00am through ticketmaster.ca.
 

Shawn Desman comes from a groundbreaking era of Canadian music that paved the way for the next generation of artists we see today. Making his mark on an entire generation of Canadians, Desman achieved incredible accolades including a Platinum selling album, five Platinum selling singles, multiple chart-topping radio hits, and a plethora of awards including a JUNO Award for R&B Sound Recording of the Year, three MMVAs, and multiple SOCAN Awards for his songwriting. His 2013 album Alive was released in a way no other artist had before. Partnering with MUCH, the album dropped in conjunction with a short-film, starring Desman, Kaitlyn Leeb (Heartland), Melinda Shankar (Degrassi), and K.C. Collins (Lost Girl). The film ALIVE provided audiences with a brand-new way to experience music and visual content, and went on to win "Outstanding Short Film" at the ReelWorld Film Awards, in addition to nominations at the Canadian Screen Awards, JUNOs, and the MMVAs.
