Niagara Falls WINTER FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

November 18, 2023 to January 7, 2024

The Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights (WFOL) will once again illuminate the city of Niagara Falls Canada for 51 Nights of Twinkling Lights from November 18, 2023 until January 7, 2024.

With over 3 million lights and 75+ spectacular displays providing colourful visuals, Niagara Falls will be transformed into a twinkling winter wonderland along the Niagara Parkway, Dufferin Islands and across the tourist districts. Visitors to this popular annual event can bundle up and walk or drive through the Festival route to explore the outdoor, self-guided experience and warm up indoors with 51 nights of the Hot Chocolate Trail.

Bundle up for a walk to see the lights up close (check out our Festival walking route ideas), drive along the festival route in your vehicle with family, or take in the spectacular lights from the warmth and comfort of hotel and restaurant windows in Niagara Falls. The Winter Festival of Lights route is a total of 8 km (5 mi) so some driving and parking may be recommended for those with young children and older adults. Paid parking is available in the Falls Parking Lot across from the Table Rock Centre, at Skylon Tower, Fallsview Casino and on Clifton Hill.

If you and the family are looking for some itinerary ideas while you spend your stay in Niagara Falls, check out some of the Festival experiences in the Festival itinerary ideas.

Come for the lights and to reconnect with family and friends, stay for the colourful illumination of the city's famous waterfalls - a magical viewing occasion for all, every night of the year.
