There’s nothing quite like the sight of exploding fireworks over the brink of Niagara Falls to make your trip a memorable one. You can catch Canada’s longest-running spectacular fireworks series throughout the summer and during the Winter Festival of Lights, and select other holidays throughout the year.
Niagara Falls Tourism presents the Summer Fireworks Series, sponsored in part by the Niagara Falls Canada Hotel Association and The Niagara Parks Commission. The Fireworks display will span from May 17, 2024 to October 14, 2024. Check the schedule for details.
Nightly Fireworks shows now until Oct 14
The 2024 Niagara Falls Summer Fireworks series kicked-off on Friday, May 17th for the Victoria Day long weekend and continues every night at 10:00pm until the finale on Monday, October 14th* (Canadian Thanksgiving). With nightly shows from May through October, you will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display with stunning views of the Falls!

Fireworks Views
The Niagara Falls fireworks displays can be viewed from many beautiful vantage points within Niagara Falls: outdoor spaces in Niagara Parks, high above at the Skylon Tower and Niagara SkyWheel, and indoors at the many hotels and restaurants with views of the Falls.
You can also enjoy unparalleled views of the fireworks from the comfort of a Fallsview hotel room or accompanied by dinner and drinks at one of the many Fallsview restaurants.

What time are the Fireworks starting?
For the Summer Fireworks Series, the Fireworks display begins at 10:00pm. For the Winter Festival of Lights Fireworks Series, the Fireworks begin at 8:00pm.
How long is the Fireworks show?
The Fireworks show is a 5-minute display. Some special events such as Canada Day, July 4th and New Years Eve are a 9-minute show.
Are Niagara Falls Fireworks rain or shine?
Fireworks displays continue rain or shine but may be affected by prevailing winds. Wind speed and direction are tested throughout the day, and any schedule changes are announced as soon as possible.
Who puts on the Fireworks at Niagara Falls?

Where can I get the best view?
The Fireworks are set off from within the Niagara Gorge, between the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. You'll get the best view from Queen Victoria Park.

Niagara Falls is Illuminated nightly from the Illuminations Tower in Niagara Falls, Canada. These lights work to create a breathtaking view not to be missed, and are illuminated every night of the year beginning at dusk. Throughout the year, Niagara Falls is illuminated for holidays and significant occasions, as determined by the Niagara Falls Illumination Board (NFIB).
