Elite Chefs Tour Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls welcomed 17 of the world's top chefs on July 18, 2017. The chefs are members of Le Club des Chefs des Chefs, known as the "G20 of gastronomy". To be a member of this exclusive club chefs have to be a personal chef to a royal family or world leaders such as Presidents and Prime Ministers.
The chefs were guests of Niagara Falls Tourism and the Niagara Parks Commission and treated to brunch at Table Rock followed by a trip to the base of the falls aboard one of the Niagara City Cruises vessels. All of the ingredients for the brunch were sourced locally from farmers in Niagara.
This group meets yearly in a different country to experience local culinary traditions.
Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati and Niagara Parks Chair Janice Thomson were on hand to greet the chefs and the founder of the organization Gilles Bragard. While in the Niagara Region, the chefs also dined at Peller Estates.
