It's A Go for the Wings for Life World Run
Organizers of this world wide road race have announced Niagara Falls will be one of the 35 locations around the world that will host this event on May 8th; 2016.This race, which took place this past May, raised $45,000. All money raised goes to support spinal cord research.
What’s different about this race is the absence of a finish line. Instead runners are given a 30-minute head start before being pursued by a, “catcher car”. The last runner world wide to be caught is declared the winner.
In 2015 there were 101,280 runners who participated in the race from around the world. More than 5.5 million was raised.
Registration is $40.00 plus tax.
