Nature Lover's Route (WFOL)
The Niagara Falls Winter Festival of LIghts provides nature lovers with the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, wide-open park spaces and millions of lights all at once! Beautifully lit trees and displays enhance the natural landscape to create an enchanting winter. Get outside, make new memories, and continue the tradition.
- Start your route by parking at the Floral Showhouse
- The stunning grounds of the Floral Showhouse include the mesmerizing Niagara display and illuminated trees.
- After you've explored the displays at the Floral Showhouse, walk south towards Dufferin Islands.
- En route, you'll experience the stunning architecture of the illuminated Toronto Power Generation Station and the favourite Canadian Mounties display.
- Continuing on, you'll come up close to the 20ft polar bear and cub!
- Just passed the polar bears, you'll enter Dufferin Islands.
- Dufferin Islands has dozens of light displays in store for you as you explore the natural surroundings to loop you around the 10 acres of parkland.

When you've completed the Dufferin Islands loop, head back to the Floral Showhouse. Make it a staycation with overnight accommodations so you can explore more of 56km of nature along the Niagara Parkway during the day, too!
