Woman is a photographic exhibition by Carrie Lee, exploring the complexities of modern womanhood through intimate portraits and storytelling that celebrate strength, resilience, and self-discovery. It also confronts ongoing struggles such as gender inequality, violence, and poverty, emphasizing their continued impact on women’s lives. Rooted in both global and local contexts, the exhibition encourages reflection on how communities like Niagara are evolving in their approach to social issues affecting women.
