Get Super Soaked

Water ventures are an obvious must when you pay a visit to Niagara. For a truly memorable voyage, ride down the Niagara River on an open-air Whirlpool Jet Boat, a rambunctious wet and wild tour through the raging waters of the Niagara Whirlpool. Or, be surrounded by the soothing roar of North America's largest series of standing waves at White Water Walk, as you marvel at Niagara River’s Class 6 rapids. Of course, be sure to enjoy the classic must-do water experience, Niagara City Cruises, and sail into the belly of the beast getting as close to Niagara Falls as you possibly can.

Zip, Fly and Zoom

Get wild with three of the most exhilarating adventure experiences in Niagara Falls, if you dare: MistRider Zipline, Whirlpool Adventure Course and Niagara FreeFall. Dangle from a precarious 67 metre high vantage point on MistRider Zipline, as you set off on a panoramic ride plunging toward Horseshoe Falls at speeds of over 70 kph. Looking for a challenge? Battle through a series of suspended obstacles and ziplines as you navigate the Whirlpool Adventure Course, towering cliff-side above the Niagara River. If skydiving is your thing, Niagara FreeFall immerses visitors in the world of high adventure skydiving without ever having to pack a parachute, pull a ripcord, or jump out of an airplane.

Up, Up and Away

For those willing, soaring to great heights is the best way to get incomparable views of the entire city. Take the 3,500 foot journey over the Niagara River, high above the beautiful gorge scenery below, on the historic Whirlpool Aero Car. For something a little slower paced, hop aboard the Skywheel, located in the heart of Clifton Hill allowing for equally impressive views. However, the most scenic and exciting sightseeing experience is from a bird’s eye view. Niagara Helicopters offer an opportunity to view Niagara’s perfect combo of rural and city landscapes throughout every season.

Bike and Hike

Two wheels, 300 km of bike trails, endless possibilities. For the eager adventurer, there’s no better way to explore than by bike. Whether you rent a bike when you get here or BYOB (bring your own BIKE), Niagara offers tons of great trails, bike friendly restaurants and self-guided cycle winery tours to discover. For hiking fanatics, be sure to visit local hotspot, the Niagara Glen for winding paths through a pristine pocket of Carolinian Forest. If history also piques your interest, head to the top of the Niagara Escarpment and hike through Queenston Heights, a pivotal location during the War of 1812.
